This 4-day training seminar covers market information, selling, deploying, administering and customizing ParlaBox PBX Trial Software, as well as advanced topics relevant to the development of solutions for all open-source PBX systems. We cover system and telephony hardware, IP phones and things to consider when choosing components for your phone system. We also deal with sales and marketing as well as provide optional training on commercial modules and certification test. This course is designed for professionals who may have some exposure to any type of open-source PBX and wishes to expand their knowledge. However, if you do not have prior experience with this kind of system, feel free to discuss with us your plans so would be able to assess your situation and provide necessary advise.
This training aims to provide students with a good understanding of the basic concepts and terminologies of open-source PBX. We also want our students to obtain good knowledge that will allow them to comfortably work with the Linux command line and address remote PBX admin needs, understand the components of open-source PBX and how they fit together, the architecture of the key components of open-source PBX and know where to look if the system encounters problems. Of course, aside from the basics, we aim to provide our students with a good foundation and understanding on customized installations, adding applications and dial plans, and correctly integrating them with the system.
At the end of the training, we want our students to be know the in and out of open-source PBX, be efficient in deploying open-source PBX, efficient in planning all required basics, MACs, IVR planning and construction, Inbound-Outbound routing, Automatic call distribution and Queues, DID assignments, Ring Group Usage, Fax Integration and considerations. We also aim to provide knowledge to our students on how to configure remote users, understand NAT issues and how to address them, 911/E911 considerations and where open-source PBX can help, TDM and VoIP trunk configuration and branch office integration, as well as be able to configure and work with IP phones, know the considerations, its deployment choices and various models.
Students should also be able to identify security concerns and know how to address them. We make sure that students learn how to use a demo kit and leverage this training to wow perspective clients in their organization or business. We equip our students with the right tools to implement larger inbound call centers with open-source PBX, understand the implications and learn about commercial modules.
Your own computer system would be necessary for this training class. And since this is done either online or in your private office, students or organizations need to provide their own equipment as there may be opportunities to follow along and try new capabilities. Students will also have lab time outside of the agenda to give them chance to work closer with the instructors.

This is a 4 day core open-source PBX training using ParlaBox PBX Free Software. The 4th day is optional if participants want to go over topics on open-source PBX Commercial Modules and Certification Test.
Daily Agenda: The first 3 hours lecture and lab work with breaks in between, followed by 1 hour lunch break, then the rest of the day will be spent on lectures and more lab time. Note that the 4th day is optional and may only take just half of the day.
